, it isn’t necessary to know whether a case is there,
but it does help to know what to look for and what options are available to you.
We’ve been known to solve problems without lengthy cases and trials. Sometimes it just takes a little counseling and a clear solution. If that’s not enough, we’ll find the best course of action to recommend to you. Consider the following as you prepare to call us:

  • Did somebody or something cause you to be injured?
  • When did the injury occur? For many personal injury claims, you must file your claim in a court of law within two years.
  • Who was involved?
  • What contributed to the accident?
  • Were there any witnesses?
  • Were the police involved?
  • What is the other side going to say you did to contribute to that injury? If you are more than 51% at fault, then you may not be able to recover for your injuries.
  • Were you injured by a product that did not perform as it should have?

  • Were your wrongfully terminated, demoted, or suffered other negative treatment?
  • Were you discriminated against because of your race, sex, pregnancy, age, disability, or religion?
  • Have you contacted the EEOC or the TWC?
  • Most employment terminations in Texas are legal – it is only if you were terminated for a “wrongful” reason (i.e. race, religion, gender, or age).
  • When did the discrimination occur? If you wait, you could pass the time limit and your claim cannot be made.
  • How many people did or does your employer employ? It could affect how much, if any, you are able to recover.

  • Has your claim been denied?
  • When did you make the claim?
  • Do you have a copy of your insurance policy?
  • When did the discrimination occur? If you wait, you could pass the time limit and your claim cannot be made.
  • Have you requested a copy of the policy from the insurance company?

  • Were you promised goods or services that you did not receive?
  • When did the purchase take place? Most consumer claims must be brought within two years.
  • Were you lied to about the quality of goods or services which you had purchased?

  • Were you promised goods or services that you did not receive?
  • When did the purchase take place? Most consumer claims must be brought within two years.
  • Were you lied to about the quality of goods or services which you had purchased?
  • What type of business do you own or operate?
  • Who do you have a dispute with?
  • When did the problems arise?
  • What are your damages?
  • Do you have any agreements with the other entity or individual?
  • How has your business been injured?
